I realize that for many you – the dream ends today. The Cowboys are in the Bad Uni Conference. They should be and I have definitive reasons why.
1. Jerry Jones’ daughter designed their current uniforms. Need I say more?
2. Don’t go mixing blues on the same logo in different places on the uni.
3. I lived in Dallas for 5 years. Most of the players look better in orange jumpsuits or stripes.
Otherwise, these unis just need some attention to detail to move up.
17. Seahawks – I love the ‘pewter’ blue. Minor details – add some touches to the pants. Go with solid jersey colors for this scheme, ditch the colored sleeves. Would like different logo but not sure what so this is fine.
18. Ravens – This year they added black pants – big no-no. Too much black. Bring back the white pants, with crest on hip. Change font on jersey numbers and this is a top 12 uni.
19. Cowboys – I’m going to get grief over this one. See Miami – too many unis. Pick a look – I prefer the blue that is the SAME color as the star on helmet. Too many different shades of blue, bring back star on hip.
20. Vikings – Good: Purple, emblem is okay. Bad: same pants for away and home unis. Better logo is on sleeve of jersey. Should use the trim on away jersey for home. Add logo on pant stripe.

I think there is room for the Cowboys in the Good Uni conference for one reason:
You have to defend yourself for putting them in that conference. Maybe I am a little biased. I will have to wait and see who belongs in the Good Uni conference….I bet Denver is one of them?
As an avowed Seahawk fan, I have to comment on the uni’s. Yes, I love the “Seahawk Blue” base color of the uniform, but mixing it with those navy blue arm patches is downright awkward. And on the road uni it looks very weird. We here in Seahawk land are all for uniform simplification. Make the home jerseys all “Seahawk Blue”, use navy only as an accent color, and for goodness sake get rid of that neon green stripe on the pants! Would also like to see the team return to a heavy pewter gray pant that could be used with either home or road uni. That’s my take.
I agree with the Seahawk assessment. Anything with Pewter is good for an NFL uniform. (Prom dress might be another story!)
