I’m subscribed to 28 blogs. They come directly to my inbox - so don’t freak out - I’m not surfing the whole earth every morning…okay, I am but that’s different.
And so I am going to spend/waste (depending on your point of view)a post on the ones I read religiously concerning youth ministry…pun intended.
All of these are blogs written by adults - at least in age - who have a passion for working with youth.
Linkage does not equate agreement, but it does equate respect.
Youth Blog: youth ministry from an Englishman’s point of view. Ian is fast becoming one of my favorite reads and a blog ‘mate.’ As soon as I get my British-American dictionary, things are going to take off. (Which brings to mind a Patton quote - The Americans and English are two great peoples separated by a common language.)
Stumbling after Jesus: Jeremy, Jeremy, Jeremy…do not read this site while drinking a beverage. You will have it coming out your nose. A Canadian. See above.
Island of Misfit Youthworkers: Shane’s the man here. An honest and random look at the life of youth pastor. He recently resigned his paid spot and is moving to Idaho…on purpose. I think it is because he wants to be closer to Canada and Jeremy.
Ministry via Mistakes: Robert’s in Lousiana, but don’t hold that against him. Creative worship experience guy.
Dead Youth Pastor: He is provocative and disruptive, in a good way. In my opinion - he is allowing us to watch the healing process of a wounded youth pastor. I love his vulnerability and ruthlessness in questioning why we do what we do.
CL: Ever read/meet somebody and you just like him? Don’t really even have any good reasons? That’s how I feel about Chris. I just like him. Plus, he’s in Alabama.
Looking Out From My Little Place: Len’s got good stuff - when he writes!
Youth Ministry Forum: A bunch of goofy youth workers are here writing about stuff. They invited me to join them so they aren’t all that legitimate…fun, but not legitimate.
Okay…well these are the ones I read all the time. Enjoy.
