Okay - first of all when I said that I sometimes get drug/dragged - taken when I don’t really want to - to movies, I did NOT mean my wife.
I realize that is what it sounded like - but honestly, I often drag her to movies, not the other way around. In fact, my wife might just be the most non-committal person on the planet when it comes to the subject of where to eat or what to see at the movies.
By the way, I think this is what Peter meant by saying live gently with the weaker sex. It’s not a strength issue - it’s a decisiveness issue.
For example - where do you want to eat?
Amy - “I don’t care.”
G - “Okay, how about Cozymel’s?”
A - “No.”
G - “Okay, so you do care.”
A - “Not really, I just know I don’t want to eat there.”
And the conversation continues, playing elimination to find out our destination. Movie conversations are much the same way.
Steve Boehm on the other hand, has mastered the art of draggin me to a movie that I really don’t want to see.
To Steve’s credit - he has hit a home run…with Hero. If you haven’t seen that - watch it tonight.
Back on target here - so, my wife is wonderful. She is awesome. She never drags me anywhere. She looks hot. She can cook. AND she can kick your butt.
