Ever meet someone and about after the 3rd time you hang out with him, you just feel like you’ve known him forever?

That’s Dave. I’m playing my second round of golf this year tomorrow with Dave. He’s celebrating 10 years of soberness. I’ve only know him for 3 but consider him one of my closer friends.

I’ve got a couple of recovered alcoholic buddies and you know why I love ‘em? Because there is no fakeness with these guys. There is no high drama, world is going to end crisis when things don’t go their way. There is just living in the moment, trusting God to be God.

So tomorrow we play golf and eat junk food.
