We tried a new game last night: Minnesota Golf. Actually, it really isn’t Minnesota Golf, I took the idea of the real game Minnesota Golf and combined with Frisbee Golf. The real Minnesota is more like horseshoes. That is not exactly the most active game in the world so a few modifications were made. (Check out the pics here.)

The goal is to take these things - two golf balls with a hole drilled thru the center of them tied together with string - and throw them around a course ala frisbee golf. The difference is you want to wrap that thing around the “hole.’
Things learned:
1. Maxfli Golf balls have a liquid core. Quite the explosion that was!
2. Middle Schoolers will lose their balls on the first hole. They will throw them so high, they can’t retrieve them. See here.
3. They don’t float.
4. Make scorecards next time.
Great game. We’ll do it again.
