The tropical storm Cindy has decided to visit us - right now it is no big deal, just some wind and a little rain. C L over in Mobile on the other hand is getting the big stuff.
Other updates: My dad worked himself to exhaustion at Cumcito camp. I love my dad but he can be a real bonehead at times…like now. (Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, eh?)
No shark sightings but we did see a manitee swim by and you should have heard the beach freak out. You’d thought JAWS was coming inshore. People bailing out of the water, standing on the shore just staring at the black shadow.
It’s a SEA COW!!! Pretty funny.
July 4 on the beach is the bomb. Everyone up and down the beach shooting off fireworks on top of the city display…incredible!
My annual golf game - front nine = 46. We aren’t going to talk about the back 9.
I’m in walking distance of Barnes and Noble. God is good.
Getting home is going to be tricky with all the weather between us and Little Rock. May have to detour north through Birmingham. We’ll see.
