Why Is It In Little Rock…

Nothing like being in a great mood, then getting in the car to ruin it. Little Rock needs a monorail or I need to move within biking distance of my favorite office….because driving is killing me…

Okay - actually, driving in Little Rock has confirmed my dire need of Jesus’ grace. It has also confirmed that while I don’t appear to have control issues….I do when I get behind the wheel…

While I’m ranting……….

Can anybody in the freakin’ world explain to me why is it in Little Rock…

…drivers slow down on 630 right by the med center for no apparent reason? There’s no wreck, no lights, no scenery yet every day, all the time - traffic is slow there. What the heck?

…there is no straight line access from Rodney Parham to Markham west of I-430?

…Rodney Parham interesects itself once, Markam once, Mississippi once and is parrallel to all three roads?

…no one understands turning right on red?

…speed humps that could launch the General Lee?

..the DMV is allowed to exist at all?

…that of the 7 bridges from Little Rock to North Little that only 4 are usable by cars of which 3 of those are within 4 blocks of each other and the other one is 11 miles away (430 bridge)?

…we have a funeral home across the street from the mall?

Okay —- I feel better.

Stupid, brain dead, in-bred Arkansas drivers!!!!!!!!!!

    Move to God’s Country: NWA! Same stupid people driving, but at least it’s not Little Rock!

    (and what are you griping about?? 630 at least has 4+ lanes going both directions! I’d KILL to have the Highway department add 1 or more lanes to I-540 between Fayetteville and Bentonville)

    At least you have a car and can drive. Being stuck at home is much worse than the roads.

    I however, will AGREE with Grant on this one… what the crap are you people smoking around here??? Also, can anyone explain why it is that about 33% of the people in this state have no tag on their car??
