I’m pretty sure I would have denied Jesus. I’ve heard lot’s of guys say that same thing but not really mean it - kind of a false humility thing. The reality of it is that the disciples were 3 years old in their faith and the Spirit wasn’t indwelling them.

But even with the indwelling Spirit, at 3 years old in the faith - I honestly think I would have folded up like a cheap tent. I think at best I would have hid for 3 days, at worse acted like Peter.

Having had the sting of betrayal, what I can’t fathom is Jesus sitting down at an intimate dinner with them just loving on them. That completely baffles me.

It is also why Jesus is completely God.
