Exhibit 1 - the Dallas Cowboys. Bill Parcells thinks that the circus around Terrell Owens was a wee bit exaggerated. You’re kidding, right? It’s too early to start arguing now anyway. TO always gives one outstanding year in a place, it’s the second year when the wheels come off.
Exhibit 2 - Ashley Lelie, Denver Broncos. Broncos trade a 2nd round pick for All-Pro WR Javon Walker. Lelie is angry that he wasn’t given a shot to play the #1 WR at Denver and wants to be traded. You’re kidding, right? You had a chance every single week last season. It’s hard to play WR with your hands around your neck.
You’ve underperformed but incredibly talented. You have an opportunity to learn from two of the top WR in the league and you’re miffed? You are on a team that was one game away from the Super Bowl but will trash that to play for the Lions?
Wake up calls are coming!

You are right on with both these takes! I am a big Broncos fan (drive by Broncos Headquarters each day)and Big D (the Tuna) are right next to the Raiders on our hate list but it is sad to see Ashley Leile catch the worst case of denial I have ever seen! I guess I should just be happy he is catching something. We have been trying to make him in to a number one WR for the last 3 years with no luck. Can anyone remember some of the other holdouts in Denver? Bobby Humphery (ALL SEC RB)and Micheal Dean Perry. Who? You say! I have made my point. Cool to see Bronco Blogging! Later
