Email Subscribe Tweak

Well I changed the email subscription service from Feedburner to Feedblitz.

What I liked about Feedburner is keeping it all together and aesthetically – their email package looked better than Feedblitz’s. I love the color orange as much as anybody – Go Broncos – but a big orange square as the header is not all that appealing.

Feedblitz on the other hand has a lot of other cool tools and mangerial functions.

So in a fight to the death, function defeated artistry.

I still am in love with Feedburner…but for now, Feedblitz gets a little piece of love as well. Of course, if I wanted to pay $55 a year, I can doctor the email up all I want. I think I’ll wait on that for now.

One minor goof on my end – the two of you who so quickly subscribed via email….I’m sorry but could you please re-subscribed? I got a little carried away in the switch over and forgot your email addresses. My bad. Won’t happen again.

Wayne-O – if you’ve got a firewall, I don’t think it will work. And you have most definitely got a firewall at your work.

Mark E. is going to have issues as well. I remember sending him an email with a lesson plan that talked about pornography and the “M” word – it flagged it as questionable material…which it was but that’s not the point.
