I’m not a huge Shaq fan but if the man could shoot at least 60% from the free throw line - I’d argue that he would be the best player to ever play the game…even MJ. He’s just a beast and this year he’s proven that when he is in shape, he’s freakin’ unstoppable.
His points per game would be out the roof, you couldn’t foul him like crazy, and he’d play the whole game (not be a liability in the final minutes of a close game.)
But alas he is a bona fide bricklayer at the stripe. Right now he is 0 for 7. It’s just painful watching him shoot free throws.
So he isn’t the best of all time - that remains firmly with MJ.
And I think Mark Cuban is the best thing going in the NBA right now. Check out his blog and I dare you to disagree. He says it how it is and operates the Mavs like an Xbox owner.
Go Mavs.

I’m not a huge Shaq fan either but I do respect him as a player. Team guy, tons of talent and doesn’t seem to be a jerk. And it looks like Kobe was the problem in L.A., not Shaq.
The thing about him is he is 7′+ and 300+ but moves like he is 6′5″ and 225.
He also gets away with a ton of fouls but that is the fault of the refs, not him.

Go Mavs! A team we agree on? I have to say, it is good to be a Texan, especially this year!

Shaq is sweet. I mean….KAZAAM. It doesn’t get better than that. haha. Plus he has got Dwayne Wade…top five players in the NBA right now, and he is a good guy. I gotta go for the Heat even though they blew it tonight. cough cough Shaq cough cough Free Throws

I posted this on my quotes blog(http://www.quotesfortoday.blogspot.com/), thought you’d appreciate it.
“Me shooting 40 percent at the foul line is just God’s way to say nobody’s perfect.”
Shaq Daddy
As a Spurs fan if another team is going to win, let it be the Mavs. Everyone. . . Everyone in San Antonio still loves Avery Johnson, his “6″ will one day be retired with the Spurs
