Started with my guys at 7 AM. I’m loving the time and the challenge to push further up and further in.
Help Britton out with some budget stuff, lunch - then golf.
I got to play 18 at Hindman with 3 of my best friends - Steve Boehm, Harry Anderson, and Wayne Galli. There was a lot of laughter today!!!
Here are the official scores/rules.
Best ball scramble, change teams every 6 holes. (That gives every one a chance to have Harry on their team.) Winner of most holes after 6, gets a point. We also keep track of strokes and other ridiculous shots.
Harry - 3 points
Steve - 1 point
Wayne - 1 point
Grant - 1 point
(Basically if Harry was on your team, you were going to win.)
Strokes
Wayne - 81
Harry - 82
Grant - 83
Steve - 86
Longest Putt - Grant - about a 30 footer for birdie on 8.
Longest Drive - Harry
Shortest Drive - tie Harry with himself on hole 12 and 16.
House Hunter - Wayne
Mr. Clutch - Steve - multiple occassions…hit some sweet shots to save pars.
We are on 12, and Wayne crushes his shot over the green, over the privacy fence and hits something so loud it rattle the pin out. I’m laid out in the fairway laughing and just flub my next shot in the water. Pretty funny hole.
Great day with my buds.

I just wanted to remind the owners why they built on a golf course.

[...] The last two days have been pretty darn good. Monday, I played golf with three good friends. You can read about that here. Tuesday we had some more good friends, the Sanders, over for the 4th of July festivities in Maumelle. Keith, Rene, Zack, Anna, and Chloe came over for our almost famous fajitas and then hung around for the almost famous, not too lame, fireworks at Lake Willastein in Maumelle. It was a great time and hanging with the Sanders was a blast. [...]
