Events of yesterday will not be fully disclosed here.
One hairy moment of yesterday was as Amy was getting out of the Sequoia in front of our house - with kids still in it - it started rolling back down the hill. Amy couldn’t get in the truck to stop it. I was watching on the front porch - completely helpless. Instead of rolling all the way down the hill hitting either a house or the pond - it hit my buddy’s truck right in the driver-side door.
This was all the damage - around 2k for ours, who knows for the Singletons. I’ll take it. It could have been disastrous.
Thank you Harry for bringing to reality with your comment. That is the true heart behind yesterday’s events. It’s also what accountability and encouragment really looks like. It’s not just “atta boy” and sin-list keeping. It’s a reminder of truth, a lifting of the eyes to see the invisible army.
Thanks for reminding of God confirmation and of the move and more importantly how He protected our girls and my bride.

Glad you gotta friend like Harry, ’cause I’m afraid I’d nod my head and say, “yep … now THAT sucks”. You’re a good man H.

I am glad everyone is ok. Bumpers can be easily repaired.

The truck ( as Grant would say) looks very good. I’m sure that Amy felt really upset and yet very relieved the “truck” didn’t travel any great distance. That was a big S.E.E..
Only emotional damage, which heals much faster than physical damage. Here is a theological question, “Does any thing happen in this life without God’s will?”
Glad everyone is well. Love to all
