NFL Reflections, Week 2.

San Diego has destroyed two very bad football teams (Oakland, Tennessee).

That is exactly what Denver HAS NOT done (St. Louis, Kansas City).

Rex Grossman (Bears) looks like he learned the game of football in the off-season. Will anyone score on the Bears all year?

Green Bay (and the beloved Favre) look…tired.

The Saints are the feel-good story of the year.

The Cowboys are done. TO explosion coming after bye-week.

Redskins are more done than the Cowboys. Name me a team in more need of a quarterback? Tennessee…okay, name me another….Denver…okay, after that…

Oakland – okay, seeing a pattern here. The quarterback level of play this year is atrocious across the board. Maybe we needed more preseason games.

Sunday night football is infinitely more fun to watch than MNF right now. It just makes for a long day.

I love your NFL thoughts. And they are spot on. I know the Chargers blew up two bad teams, but the way they blew them up…man they look good!

Chicago is good only if Grossman doesn’t get hurt.

chicago will be good with or without grossman, just better offensively. their defense is holding opponents to 3.5 points a game through 2 games. they did it last year with kyle freakin orton. now they have brian griese who is more than qualified to be the quarterback of the bears when grossman has his yearly season ending injury. giants, falcons, and bears are all strong contenders out of the nfc.

All I have to say about Griese is this – he has yet to win a playoff game.

Hopefully the Chargers will now have a season worthy of their uniforms!

For some crazy reason I’m pulling for Arizona this year. Warner’s got the arm, but I doubt the other pieces are in place.

Bay area talk radio is killing the Raiders.

Yeh i know im almost two weeks late on this post but a couple of teams you didnt mention are the Indianapolis Colts and the New Orleans Saints. The Colts ahve defeated one bad team and two very good teams and are on route to play another good team. They are having a difficult season being afflicted with injuries and the loss of James has messed up their running game, but i expect to see them go deep in the playoffs yet again this year. Not then to the Saints, im impressed. For a team that did terrible last season they are killing everyone this year. Look at how bad they pounded the Falcons, 23-3, from a team like that i expect to see them in the playoffs this year probably on a wildcard unless they continue to prove that they arent pushovers anymore
