What’s the next best thing to seeing Alabama beating Auburn?
Seeing Auburn choke against an unranked opponent.
My dad said it would – Auburn would get ranked high and for some reason they lose their brains in that altitude. There is only one major downside of this game…now I’m going to have to hear how Arkansas is in the national title hunt.
Major thanks and hat tip to Hog Nation.

Isn’t it Razorback Nation?
I think I remember hearing that in the middle of FEBRUARY when I turned on sports radio.
Do they ever shut up about their mediocre football team?

Living in LA (Lower Alabama) I think it’s pretty stinkin funny! All I heard from Auburn fans was how Arkansas beat Alabama. Hogs I lift a glass in your honor.
Hook ‘em Horns!

The only thing that would have made yesterday sweeter were if the Horns had lost (not that I am an OU fan)

You’re welcome.
On 11/18, go and do likewise…

I was cheering for Arkansas and glad to see them beat a ranked team, even if it did mean an increase the obnoxiousness (is that a word)of hog fans. So why do we have to wish bad upon the Longhorns? Jason, you should be ashamed! My boys looked great yesterday!

Arkansas dominated but is not in the BCS hunt. That win paired with the Texas win over O WHO certainly reshapes the hunt. Finally, I’m not sure who Jason Lofton is, but, all I can say to him is “HOOK EM”

Turner – just don’t park it in a creek. Those commercials for Toyota are full of crap.

we are definately in the bcs hunt britton, because the winner of the sec west plays the winner of the sec east, and the winner of the game goes to a bcs bowl. its simple mathmatics.

I still think Texas is overrated. They will repeat what they do every year (except last of course). Win big in a weak Big 12 conference then loose to a better SEC school. Mark my words.

At least Tuberville took the blame and didn’t go to pointing fingers. “I take full responsibility for today,” Tigers coach Tommy Tuberville said. “It is my fault. We had two weeks to get ready for this game and they were coming off of a six-overtime game. We should have had a better game. I have to take the blame for this. I made some bad calls. It is my job to get the team ready and get the crowd in the game and I didn’t do that.”
The day Houston Nutt does that is the day I become a razorback fan — unless they are playing LSU or any other SEC team.

what’s with the 4-year-old quote?
19 britton // Oct 9, 2006 at 11:48 am
Arkansas hitting 17 in the poll today for sure puts them in the BCS hunt. Hopefully they won’t choke it away. Yes, the Big 12 is weak -always has been. Other than Florida, the SEC is not dominant conference this year. They are good, but, not the dominant conference they have been. Still good, though.

It depends on what you mean by “BCS”. If you mean a BCS bowl, at least half the teams in the major conferences are still mathmatically alive to win their conference, so they’re all technically ‘in the hunt’.
If you speak strictly of the BCS championship game, I’d say there are only a few teams that are in that particular hunt.

Winter Park – Winter Wonderland…
As the 2005-2006 ski season unfolds it appears to be heading for the record books. The snowfall across Colorado has come in welcome piles of powder throughout November and December….
