I can’t remember a crazier start to the new year than this one.

My mourning for the complete meltdown of the Broncos offensive line this morning (will post on this later) was interrupted by news of Darrent Williams, the starting CB of the Broncos, being shot and killed this morning after he left a nightclub in downtown Denver.

The Falcons fired Jim Mora - and that’s understandable after his bonehead interview concerning the Washington job and his team completely falling apart the second half of the season.

The Cardinals fired Dennis Green. That’s less understandable in my mind. He pulled it together in the back half of the season and did upgrade the talent in Arizona.

Minnesota Gophers fired their head coach after his team blew a 31 point lead against Texas Tech.

Nick Saban says he is NOT going to Alabama, Alabama making him a job offer today - they are perfect for each other. Both liars.

Of course, all is not loss. I think I’m going to jump on the J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets bandwagon. Is there room, Jeremy?

I’ll pull for the Chargers as well because they have sweet unis.
