Advantage of Mountain Time Zone

Clay asked a great question about the advantages of the Mountain Time Zone.

Here’s my short list…

1. It’s got mountains.
2. When Monday Night Football ends it’s still Monday night.
3. It gets daylight at 6 am (or so I’m told) and stays daylight till after 9.
4. It’s got mountains.
5. It’s not the Left Coast.
6. I know what happens an hour earlier.

    Hey, we have mountains too! BTW, I feel the same about central time, but I was raised that way.

    I was born in Alabama. I used to think they had mountains too. They have big hills. We have mountains.

    Central isn’t bad. Eastern is the worse.

    Around here, when Monday Night Football ends, it’s Wednesday.

    I used to live on the east coast and remember SNL not starting until 11:30. And Monday night football didn’t start until 9pm…man was it hard to stay up late to watch stuff.
