The Only Good Hog is a BBQ’d One

bigallogo I’m saying it now and sticking by it. Alabama is going to roll up and all over the little piggies from Arkansas. It’s going to be a blowout. It will be over before halftime.

That is if McFadden misses the bus or is abducted by aliens between now and the kickoff.

If any of you guys end up in Tuscaloosa for the game (Derek), go to Dreamland BBQ and get the pulled pork sandwich. Let’s hope that’s what the Tide do on Saturday.

I’ll be watching the game on ESPN in HD. First real test for the Tide. We’ll see how much difference a coach can make. Can he kick field goals?

This time last year, I was in Fayetteville with my awesome friend Bruce and Cindy and Jason Lofton watching ‘Bama choke on pork. I could do without the sequel this year.

If the Hogs win, I’ll let Lofton write a guest post on my blog.

    G - I think jlo’s right. If the Hogs win you gotta put the bush hog on your site. Then again, what does he have to do if the Tide win? Hmmmmm. . .

    Deal. I hope it is a good game. Last years was close but was not really that good. If I understand my sources correctly, we have a few surprises for Alabama.

    Alabama 21
    Arkansas 7
    # of phone calls by Grant: 1 (so far)
    # of plays we have screwed up on: about 7

    I am a little nervous, but we are starting to settle down. We always play better in the 2nd half. Lets hope this is the case today.

    And no, I did not avoid your call. I didn’t hear it.

    I am keeping up since Grant isn’t.
    4th Quarter. This is our quarter.
    Alabama 31
    Arkansas 31

    I believe both teams will score again, but Arkansas will wind up winning if we don’t give the ballgame away stupid penalties and big plays.

    All around, the second half was a great game. I think Arkansas should have won, but I give Bama credit for playing strong and not making many mistakes, and capitolizing on our mistakes.

    As soon as Grant sends a smaller elephant, I will put it on my sidebar for the week. I may need a little instructions/reminders on how to do it!
