The Tide pulled it out, thank you Mr. John Parker Wilson.
Roll Tide.
I don’t ever want to play against Darren McFadden. He’s a beast and this game just shows you how good of a player he is. With McFadden in the game, Arkansas ran up and down the field. Classic smashmouth football. He’s quite honestly the best back in college football right now.
Without him, they were predictable and very stoppable.
Incredible game.

I kept thinking Bama was going to throw it all away in the 4th quarter. The absence of McFadden definitely made the difference.
Of course. . .in the end, it’s the final score the counts!
Roll Tide!!!

So who’s the best team in the SEC…Florida or LSU?
LSU’s a very balanced team, but Florida’s got a lot of speed on both sides. I’d almost have to put Florida over LSU, what do you think?

Fortunately for us - we don’t have to debate. They are going to play each other - possibly twice. Once on Oct. 6th in Death Valley - and the SEC Championship game…which will determine who plays USC for the National Championship.
Both teams have brutal schedules.

I think USC might stumble somewhere along the way and OU might make it up there?

Got to had it to Alabama - they were ready, Arkansas was not. Houston had better watch out. (I’m not anti-Nutt by any means, but I give him 1 losing season or 2 7-5 seasons and he’s out with the new AD in town)
I’m waiting for Arkansas State to beat Tennessee this weekend - watch out - either Texas is the most over rated team in college football, or ASU and Central Florida are both for real. THEN - watch Tennessee beat Arkansas after that! The ASU fans will be rabid!
Sounds like fun! Arguing against Calvinism and college football are 2 of my most favorite things.
Think about it…
