the    sides

So this past weekend was the “Women of Faith” weekend. Amy and a bunch of gals from church went, spent two nights downtown.

That’s the backdrop…

“Did you know that Women of Faith was started by a man?”

G: “No, I didn’t know that.”

“Well that was so surprising to me…I mean… a man!”

G: “Well it’s not that far-fetched if you think about. The conference is in the fall…during football season. He was probably trying to figure out a way to get his wife out of the house so he could have a weekend of uninterrupted football watching.”

Long pause.

“Obviously, I’ve said something wrong.”
